We are so excited to welcome Andrea Perkins! Andrea is an Awana Missionary serving the Heart of Texas. After growing up in Awana and having the privilege to serve as a leader and director in several Awana clubs, Andrea followed God's call to end her time as a Middle East Intelligence Analyst for the Department of Defense and to take up a full-time mission reaching the children and families of Texas with the Gospel.
Based in Waco, Andrea serves churches using Awana programs in 51 counties, including the Fort Worth, Austin, San Angelo, and College Station areas. She feels so blessed to be back in Waco and able to participate in activities at her alma mater, Baylor University. In 2020, Andrea adopted a sweet 12-year-old, Krislea, and in 2021 Andrea became a homeschool mom. Teaching a teenager is no joke, but the whole family loves the freedom of learning through travel in the Heart of Texas and beyond.
